[PRE-OWNED] Vicente Sanchis Model 39 Classical Guitar with Pickup

The Vícente Sanchís Badía guitar factory was originally founded in 1915 by Ricardo Sanchís Nacher (1881-1960), a talented luthier with close ties with the shops of Manuel Ramírez and Domingo Esteso. When this guitar was made in 1999 the company was run by the Vícente Sanchis, son of the founder, and employed some 22 workers. Despite its size, methods of construction remain doggedly traditional, and most of the work is done by hand. In 2000, Vicente Sanchis retired and the firm was reorganized by his sons and partners. The model 39 was among their top models, offering great value for the money. Although there is some player wear on the back binding of the lower bout, this guitar is in near mint condition. The action is set up well to play comfortably.
